Cupid’s S’mores Cupcakes

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and boy do I have a SWEET Treat for you. Cupid hit me with his arrow and it got me into the kitchen to bake up what I call Cupid’s S’mores Cupcakes. Best part is that I am going to show you how to make them right here.

First a little background on my inspiration for these Cupcakes. Last month my Party Peep Genevieve from Celebrate Today created the most yummy looking S’mores Cupcakes. When I saw the photo of her cupcakes I truly drooled all over my keyboard since I am a lover of S’mores myself.  I told her that I so had to make some for myself and my family and that is exactly what I did.

When I was in the store last week I saw these cute little Pink Heart Shaped Marshmallows and they said “Buy Me” and I thought to myself, hmmm what will I use them for – then it hit me (Cupid’s Arrow), and I had remembered about the S’mores Cupcakes I had to make. From then on Cupid had me in his spell and finally last night I got into my kitchen and baked away. I changed up the recipe a bit from Genevieve’s and they were so good I just wanted S’more and S’more.

Now let me share some Cupcake Love ❤❤❤

Here is what you will need to make Cupid’s S’mores Cupcakes:

  • Duncan Hines Triple Chocolate Chunk Muffin Mix
  • Graham Crackers
  • Regular Marshmallows
  • Pink Heart Marshmallows (Kraft Jeff-Puffed Heart Mallows)
  • Hot Fudge
  • Ziploc Bag

So here are all my ingredients ready to go. I also had these really cute Valentine’s Heart Cupcake liners too. First thing you want to do is Bake your Triple Chocolate Chunk Muffin/Cupcakes and let them cool. Then place some of your Graham Crackers in a Ziploc Bag and Smash them up to get them all crummy. Then Place them on a plate and set aside.

Place your Cupcakes onto a Cookie sheet and top each one with a Regular Marshmallow. You will now stick these back into the oven on Broil to melt the Marshmallows and Brown them up. Can I say that it smells so good when this is happening – mmmmm. Also have your plate with the Graham Cracker Crumbs right by the oven for when them come out for Dipping.

Once the Marshmallows look good and done take them out of the oven. Take the back of a Spoon sprayed with Cooking Spray (thanks Genevieve for the tip) and Smush down the Marshmallow. Then Dip it into the Graham Cracker Crumbs for a nice coating while sticky.

Next yummy step is the Hot Fudge. Heat up some Hot Fudge to get it ready to Drizzle. Place your Cupcakes on Wax Paper to avoid a mess. Then using a Spoon Drizzle the Hot Fudge on the top of the Cupcakes.  Then place a Heart Marshmallow on top while Hot Fudge is still tacky. Once done move to a clean plate and they are ready to eat.

So I called in my non camera shy taster to try the first one and she gave it Two Thumbs Up !! So of course then I had to dig in and let me tell you that it was one of the best tasting Cupcakes I have ever eaten hands down – No Joke.

How great would these be at a Valentine’s Day Party? Of course you can change this up anyway you would like and they are great all year long !!! So Easy and So Delicious.
