My Lanyard Maker Review

my lanyard maker reviewMove over Rainbow Loom and make room for the My Lanyard Maker for more creative fun the kids will love.

I was sent the My Lanyard Maker

to try out and review and I am happy to share with you my thoughts on this fun product. Well when I say I reviewed it I stand corrected because it was my 13 year old daughter who was the one who tried it out, lol.

First let me start off saying my daughter went through the Rainbow Loom

Bracelet phase all summer long – she was addicted as were all her friends. I have more bracelets then I know what to do with and there are tons of them all over my house. The Rainbow Loom was a huge hit with the kids and seems to still be going strong. But like anything else the kids get bored of the same old thing so when the My Lanyard Maker came in the mail my daughter could not wait to get busy.

Funny thing is my hubby and I remember making these lanyards all the time years ago when we went to camp. It was pretty cool that my daughter was going to learn to make them too, but lucky for her she got to use a tool to help her along, because we had to do them free hand. I could not wait for her to make me a key chain and bring back those memories for me.

My Lanyard MakerMy Lanyard Maker

comes packed with everything the kids need to get started.

Here is what is included:

100 Pony Beads in Assorted Colors

12 Metal Rings for your Keys

12 Plastic Key Rings in 6 Colors

12 Round Plastic Laces in 6 Colors

18 Flat Plastic Laces in 9 Colors

The Maker and Instruction Booklet with Step by Step Directions

Recommended Age for this is 6 and up

The kids can create many different styles and even finish them off with hanging beads!!

Oh and my favorite part is that all the supplies store right in the drawers within the Lanyard Maker – I am a big fan of items that come with self storage, always a plus in my book.

My Lanyard Maker 2As I said my daughter could not wait to get started and make some lanyard key chains.

It took a little bit for her to get it all figured out reading the instructions and also watching some tutorials she found on You Tube, but once she got her rhythm she was creating away. I got my key chain and so did everyone else, lol.

And believe it or not I have already gone to the craft store and bought her a big bag of laces in more colors.

This is what she had to say about it: “I love it, it is relaxing, fun and easy to use.”

I think the My Lanyard Maker is a great gift idea and as you just read got great reviews.
