Nickelodeon Dance will have your child up and moving

Nickelodeon Dance for Wii and XBox 360 (Kinect) will get your little one up and moving to over 30 songs sung by their favorite Nickelodeon Characters. Watch them bust a move along side the characters they love to watch on TV.

I love to see games that are geared towards the younger kids and this New Nickelodeon Dance Game is one of them. I can remember many years ago after we purchased the Wii that there were not many games available for this age group. I am happy to see that is has changed and I like it even more when they make it that the kids have to get up and move.

My daughter would have loved to dance next to Dora the Explorer when she was young and I can see so many little girls so excited for that. The boys will love it too when they can dance next to Diego. That is just two of the many characters they can choose from.

Nickelodeon Dance is a whole new kind of Nickelodeon play experience allowing kids to dance along with Dora, Diego and the Fresh Beat Band for the first time. Gamers big and small will get up off the couch, grab a Wii Remote and twist, shimmy and shake to 30 songs sung by Nickelodeon friends including theme songs and Nickelodeon hits like “We Did It,” “Al Rescate,” and “Here We Go.” In addition, popular favorites like “Dancing In the Street,” “We got the Beat” and “Rhythm is Gonna Get You” ensure fun for the entire family. Parents focused on increasing their child’s physical activity will appreciate the workout feature which promotes heart healthy activity as kids ratchet up the dance action and are graded for their accuracy as they dance with the Nickelodeon gang. And since nobody wants to dance alone, Nickelodeon Dance supports two players on every song, with easy-to-follow visual oriented dance move prompts posted at the bottom of the screen along with song lyrics.

I also think this would make a great activity at your child’s next Birthday Party. The game is only up to two players, but that does not mean you can not have a room of kids following along to all the moves !!
