Shortbread Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe – Delicious !!

If you like Shortbread Cookies and you like Chocolate Chip Cookies then you are going to be in heaven with this combination. These Shortbread Chocolate Chip Cookies are so delicious and super easy to make !!

So this past Thanksgiving I made a batch of these Shortbread Chocolate Chip Cookies and they were a huge hit with the family. My mother in law was hosting dinner this year and I wanted to bake something special for her so when I asked what her favorite cookie was she said – Shortbread and Chocolate Chip. So while looking for a unique cookie idea I came across a recipe that combined them both together – Perfect !! These were so good that I had to share the recipe with all of you to try.

Here is what you will need to bake a batch of these yummy cookies:

• 1 3/4 Cup Flour
• 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
• 1/4 tsp Salt
• 1 Cup Unsalted Butter (make sure it is Unsalted !!)
• 1/2 Cup Sugar
• 3/4 Cup Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips (I always add more – lol)
• 1/2 Cup Walnuts (Optional – I did not use in mine)

Preheat your oven to 300

Start by sifting together your Flour, Baking Soda and Salt, then set aside. In another bowl cream the Butter and Sugar together until fluffy. Then gradually stir in the dry ingredients. Then you can add in your Chocolate Chips and Walnuts.

Then Roll your dough into walnut sized balls and place onto a ungreased Cookie Sheet about 1 1/2 inches apart.  Then using the palm of your hand flatten your cookies slightly.

Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until Golden Brown.

Let Cool, Pour a Big Glass of Cold Milk and Eat before anyone knows you made them – lol
