Make some Shrimp Puffs for your next party
This past Christmas we decided to skip making a big meal and to do finger foods instead. So we made a bunch of yummy recipes and this has to be my favorite hands down. I only share the best of the best with all of you !!
Now I cannot take full credit for these since these were made by my Sista Peep and she found the recipe on the FoodNetwork.com website.
I am tellin’ ya these are sooo delicious and my kids absolutely loved them as well – especially my daughter!!!
Here is all you need to make these Yummy Shrimp Puffs:
- 1 7 1/2 ounce can of Refrigerated Biscuits
- 1 Cup of Shredded Monterey Jack Cheese
- 1 Scallion – white part with some green chopped
- 1/2 Cup of Mayonnaise
- 1/2 Pound Shrimp – Cooked, Peeled and Chopped
- 1/2 tsp Fresh Chopped Dill
**This should make about 20 Puffs**
Next split each biscuit in half and place each half in a muffin cup pressing it into the bottom and up the sides.
In a Mixing Bowl mix together your Cheese, Scallions, Mayonnaise, Chopped Shrimp and Dill. (Sista Peep added extra Dill cause Dill is my favorite – u can do this too if you like Dill like me).
Now place about 1 Tablespoon of the Shrimp Mix on top of each Biscuit.
Bake them for about 20 Minutes or until the Puffs are Golden and Bubbly.
Let cool a bit and then Chow Down !!!
Again these are SUPER Easy to make and they are my new Finger Food Favorite. I have some Shrimp left so I think I may make these for New Years as well. I mean I may have to ask my Sista Peep to make some more since she has done it before – lol.
These would be a yummy addition to any Party and would also be a fun treat to make for your SuperBowl Party – Yum Yum Yum !!
